For a long time I looked like I had it figured out. Performance was the only language I spoke fluently. I produced, I led, I held things together. From the outside, that looked like strength.
From the inside, it was survival mode. And survival mode is the most expensive thing I've ever bought.
It cost me my health. It cost me presence with the people I love most. It cost me years of trusting my own decisions — because when you keep overriding yourself, eventually you stop knowing what you actually want.
Rebuilding didn't start with a new plan. It started with a brutal piece of awareness: I had been abandoning myself for years.
What I do now — MasterLife, Rebuild Metabolism, the podcast — is built on what I learned coming back. Not a method I read about. A method I had to live.
Survival mode is expensive.
You don't have to keep paying for it.
